Spring Break Plans

I… don’t have any.

My last quarter for this school year begins next Monday. I really want to spend this Spring Break getting as much writing done as I can as well as catch up on Netflix shows I’ve added to my list throughout the quarter.

Currently listening to “Our Own House” by Misterwives—an upbeat and energetic song I’m enjoying

This post is going to be short as I’ve been working on multiple works-in-progress. I’ll most likely have a real topic for Tuesday’s blog post, but for now, here is what I’ll be mostly doing offline.

Outdoor activities

I’m just kidding—I don’t go outdoors.

will, however, be taking my sister to some empty parking lot so I can start teaching her how to drive our truck. It’s been a year since my dad passed, and there are many things I need to be doing, including teaching my sister what my dad taught me.

I already have a plan on doing it that won’t leave my sister with driving-anxiety—what I have after having been taught by my dad. He wasn’t terrible. My only issue is that he was just a loud person in general—happy, sad, indifferent… still loud.

I plan to be a soft teacher, but firm. She’s a quick-learner, so she could pick up in no time.

New story

More like a part 2 to Charlie the Vampire. It’s called Saul the Wolf and continues the story literally the next day that C the V ends.

My plans with this who are to put all 3 parts together to make a novel—or else I would end up with three novellas, and I heard novellas are a tough sell.

TV shows

Primarily, Agents of Shield (I’m not bothering with the acronym stuff—we get it). I’m mostly a Marvel girl, but I still respect the DC team.

I look forward to the upcoming Batman vs Superman movie the same way I look forward to Captain America: Civil War.

I was actually going to write about crossovers in story-lines, or two different works combining through connecting characters or same locations… kind of what I thought Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was supposed to be. The only film characters to appear on the show have been Nick Fury and Lady Sif (? —from Thor).

Why won’t any Avengers stop by??

I hadn’t realized how much of a “step down” TV was for movie actors. Thoroughly uncool. I had thought RDJ would at least be down for making an appearance on the show. I was going to write about this too, but I then realized that a lot of you readers have more important things to read about or do.

I’m the one with the ridiculous amount of free time here. It’s almost sad. At some point throughout this week, I will write about at least one of these topics. We’ll see.

Thank you for your time.
